This latest electoral victory in a continuous streak of wins since 2002 is without parallel in modern democratic history and reflects the abiding trust of the Turkish people in the AK Party and its leadership, based on their solid track record. We have no doubt that building on the remarkable economic development achieved over the past 13 years, Turkey would continue to march forward on the path to greater progress and prosperity and sustainable political stability in the years to come.”  Referring to the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Turkey, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said: “I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further fortify this strategic relationship and strengthening our partnership in support of international and regional peace, stability and development.”
